WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?
The purpose of this course is to equip believers with the necessary tools & skills to research the word of God effectively, ALL ON THEIR OWN. This course will give you the ability to know for yourself what God says in the Bible. You no longer need to read & write Greek or Hebrew in order to research the Bible effectively. Neither do you need a degree from an expensive college or seminary. All you need is a love for Jesus which motivates you in your own Bible research.
This course is laid out in three sections. Part one, “The Challenge” focuses on the need for Bible research along with identifying the main obstacles to understanding the Bible. Part two, “The Tools”. Simple definitions are given followed up by practice sessions for each of the resources used in Bible research. Part Three, “The Work”. Each method and principle is demonstrated giving you keys to meet the challenge of Bible research. While this course is not focused on “The art and science of interpreting the Bible” some concepts will be introduced and utilized. That course, which is a natural compliment to this course is recommended as the next step in your Biblical training.
